OCTOBER 5, 2023 | IRMELA PRCIĆ

In this day and age, cybersecurity is essential to protect personal data, business information, and national infrastructure from ubiquitous cyber threats. Preserving digital security contributes to the stability of the economy, citizens' trust in digital services, and prevents serious consequences of cyber attacks on individuals, organizations and state institutions.

About the project

The project "CyberSafe: Development of skills and knowledge for safe cyber security" is intended for young people aged 18 to 30, with the aim of acquiring basic knowledge and skills in the field of cyber security. Educator on the project is Emir Peštelić, senior analyst of the security operations center at the HTEC Group company, and he is also a certified implementer and auditor for harmonizing processes with the ISO27001 information security standard. Through a series of interactive workshops, participants will learn the basics of cyber security, how to recognize and react to security threats, as well as methods of protection and forensic investigation of incidents.

The project was realized with the support of the City of Tuzla.

The project consists of a total of 4 workshops. In the first two workshops, participants will master the theoretical foundations of cyber security through interactive online lectures. The remaining two workshops are held live on the premises of HTEC Group in Tuzla.

By participating in the workshops, young people will have the opportunity to master the basics of cyber security, and have the opportunity to face the real challenges of the cyber world and apply the knowledge gained.
